Whatever the circumstances may be, it’s likely that at some point, you will require the services of a Postmates delivery driver to help with your move.

However, if you aren’t able to provide your new address in your profile with Postmates, there is a high probability that none of your packages will reach their intended destination. Fortunately, updating your address on Postmates is quick and simple.

How To Change Address On Postmates

Let’s take a look at the five steps involved in changing your address in Postmates.

Step 1: Find your delivery receipt

Before you can change your address with Postmates, you first need to find your delivery receipt. You can do this by either searching for your order in the Postmates app or logging into your account and clicking the “Orders” tab. Once you have found your order, look for the “Receipt” tab on the upper right-hand side of the screen. The delivery receipt will provide you with the tracking number of your order as well as your current address within the Postmates system. If you are unable to find your receipt, you can submit a request for a duplicate receipt by clicking “Help” and then selecting “I can’t find my receipt”. However, keep in mind that duplicate receipts are only issued if the original order has been completed and fully paid for. If your delivery is still in progress, you will need to wait until it has been completed and paid for in order to change your address.

Step 2: Navigate to the account settings page

In order to change your address, you will first need to navigate to the account settings page. To do so, click the “Settings” tab at the top of the screen and then select “Account Settings” from the drop-down menu. Once here, select “Edit Address” from the “Edit Personal Information” drop-down menu.

Step 3: Find the “Edit Address” button

Now that you’ve navigated to the page where you can change your address, you will need to find the “Edit Address” button. This button can be found on the lower left-hand side of the screen.

Step 4: Confirm your new address

Once you have clicked the “Edit Address” button, you will be prompted to confirm your new address. You can do this by entering the following information into the corresponding fields:

  • Street Address: Enter the full address of your new residence in both the street and sub fields.
  • City/Town: Enter the name of the city or town in which you will be living.
  • State/Province: Select the state or province in which your new residence is located.
  • ZIP/Postal Code: Enter the full ZIP or postal code of your new address.
  • Country: Select the country of residence in which you will be living.

Once you have entered this information, you will be given the option to confirm your new address.

Step 5: Save your changes

After confirming your new address, you will be given the option to “Save Changes”. If you click this button, your new address will be saved and your account will be updated. However, keep in mind that it can take up to two business days for a change of address to become effective on the Postmates system. If you ever need to change your address again in the future, you can follow the same steps outlined above.
