Instacart is a grocery delivery app that allows users to shop for groceries online and have them delivered to their home within a few hours. Instacart is available in several markets, but you might not be able to use it if you don’t live in one of the supported locations.
If you can use Instacart, but can’t log in, or your account has been disabled, there may be some issues with your Instacart card. To order a new Instacart card and get your account back up and running, follow the steps below.
How To Order A New Instacart Card
Go to Instacart.com
You’ll need to visit the Instacart website to order a new card. You can’t do this from the Instacart app, so log in to the website from your computer’s browser to get started.
Request a new card
When you log in to the Instacart website and go to your account page, you’ll see an option to order a new card. Simply click “Request new card” and follow the steps to select your delivery address, payment method, and enter your security code. If you don’t have a code, you can use your mobile number as a security feature. If you don’t have a phone number with your account, you can’t get a new card using this method.
Confirm your email address and re-enter the password
Once you’ve requested a new card, you’ll need to confirm your email address. This is a security feature that helps prevent others from logging into your account. Once you’ve confirmed your email address, you’ll be prompted to re-enter your password. You may have changed it since you first created the account, so make sure to enter your current password. Once you’ve completed these steps, you should receive an email from Instacart. This is a confirmation email that your new card has been ordered.
Once you’ve received your confirmation email, there are a few steps you’ll need to go through before you can use your new card. First, you’ll need to log in to your account again and select “verify new card.” Once you’ve selected this option, you’ll be prompted to enter information from your new card. Enter the card number, the expiration date, and the security code. Once you’ve entered this information, you’ll be prompted to confirm your name and address. This is to confirm that your card is valid and linked to you. Once you’ve confirmed your information, your new card is ready to use.
Receive your new Instacart card by email
Once you’ve completed the verification process and your new card has been mailed, you’ll receive an email notification from Instacart. This email will contain your new card number and an activation code that you’ll need to complete the process. Once you’ve received this email, log back into your account, select “verify new card,” and enter the code from your email. Once you’ve verified your new card, you’ll be able to use Instacart again.

Once you’ve verified your new card and received the email from Instacart, your account is now active again.
