Reordering with DoorDash is a game changer. You can now enjoy your favorite food with just the tap of a button. Reordering is super simple, and you don’t even need to leave your app to do it.
Just head to your Orders tab, select the restaurant you want to reorder from, and tap on their menu item. That’s all there is to it! To help you get started with the process, here are some tips on how you can reorder on DoorDash — fast.
Read the Menu Carefully
This one might seem like a no-brainer, but it’s still important to read the menu carefully. Read the description of the item and check the allergies and dietary restrictions. You can also mark the items as favorites while you are on the app. This way, you can access them more quickly the next time you’re reordering.
Also, make sure that the correct amount of items has been ordered. If you’re craving Chinese and find that the app has added an extra sandwich to your order, you might want to double check that it’s the right thing.
Track Your Order
If you’re reordering from a restaurant that you’ve ordered from before, click on the order from the past orders section. You can also tap on the full details section and click on order history.
If you want to reorder from a previous meal that cost less than what you spent last time, then click on the “less than” option in the full details section and enter the new amount.
If you don’t see the order from the past orders section, then go to the main menu and click on the “restaurants” tab. From there, choose the restaurant that you have previously ordered from and click on the “reorder” option.
Re-enable DoorDash’s Tracker
If you’ve turned off DoorDash’s tracker, then you can re-enable it by tapping on the menu tab. Scroll down and click on “tracker.” On the popup that appears, click on “Turn On.” This will allow you to keep track of your order’s progress.
You can also turn off this tracker if you don’t want to see where your food is coming from. To do this, tap on the “more” tab on the main menu and click on the “tracker” option. From there, you can turn off the tracker and hide the ETA. Remember — when you turn off the tracker, you won’t be able to see where your food is coming from!
Reorder From Past Orders
If you’re reordering from an item that you’ve previously ordered, then you’ll need to click on the “past orders” option. From here, select the item that you want to reorder and click on “reorder.”
If this is your first time reordering from this restaurant, then you’ll need to click on the “restaurants” tab and select the restaurant from the drop-down menu. From there, click on the “reorder” button and select the item that you want to reorder.
There are some things to keep in mind when reordering from past orders. First, you can only reorder from past orders within the last seven days. Second, you are only able to reorder from a certain restaurant once per week.
Reordering with Android
If you use a mobile device that runs Android, then you have the ability to reorder with a couple clicks. Just go to the main menu, click on “reorder,” and select the item that you want to reorder.
To reorder items from past orders, go to the main menu, click on “reorder,” and select “past orders” from the drop-down menu.
If you have an iPhone, then you’ll need to tap the burger icon in the top left-hand corner and click on “reorder.” From there, select the item that you want to reorder and click “reorder.”
Wrapping Up
As you can see, reordering with DoorDash is easy. All you need to do is select your desired item, enter the number of people you’re ordering for, and enter the amount you want to spend. Once you’ve done that, you’ll be able to track your order just like you would any other order.
