There are two main ways to unselect promotion on Uber Eats: the first method involves removing it from your account, while the second method involves simply clicking “Not Interested” when viewing an offer in your inbox and locking it so it cannot appear again. How To Unselect Uber Eats Promotions
Before we look at how to unselect a promotion, let’s first quickly go over how to select a promotion in the first place. Selecting a promotion will allow you to receive that promotion. So, if you select a $5 off promotion, you’ll then receive $5 off your next order. Likewise, if you select a “buy one get one free” promotion for a particular item, you’ll receive that item for free.
That being said, the best way to unselect a promotion is to first select the promotion on your account. Once you’ve done this, you can then unselect it at a later date. This can be done a number of ways and can be done from either your Uber Eats app or your account online.
Deleting a Promotion From Your Account
If you select a promotion and then decide you don’t want it, you’ll need to delete the promotion from your account. This is the only way to unselect a promotion and will stop you from ever receiving it again.
To do this, you’ll need to log in to your Uber Eats account using a web browser and navigate to “My Account.” Once on this page, select “My Promotions” and then select the promotion you wish to unselect and click “Unselect.” You’ll then be asked to confirm this decision and click “Unselect” again. After this, the promotion will be removed from your account.
Using The “Not Interested” Button
This is another quick way to unselect a promotion, although it’s only available when viewing a promotion in your Uber Eats inbox. To do this, simply open up your Uber Eats app and jump into your inbox.
When you view an offer in your inbox, you’ll see an option at the bottom of the screen that reads, “Not Interested.” Tap this to instantly unselect that promotion. You can do this for multiple promotions if you wish. After you’ve done this, simply close your Uber Eats app and you won’t receive any more promotions for that particular offer.
How To Lock An Uber Eats Promotion
If you’re someone who likes receiving promotions but also likes being able to skip them when you don’t want them, you can lock that promotion.
Once you’ve selected the promotion, you’ll see a “lock” option that you can select. Doing this will mean that you can still receive the selection but will make it so that you don’t have to manually unselect it each time. Once you’ve selected the promotion and “locked” it, you’ll then be prompted to unselect the promotion again if you don’t want it.
However, the difference this time is the button will read “unlock.” Once you’ve clicked “unlock,” the promotion will then be removed from your account again.
